Questions

Common questions

How long does a rental day run?

Eight hours. We’ll agree on a start time when you call, and the boat is yours until eight hours later.

Is fuel really included?

Yes. Fuel is part of the $600 cash or $625 card rate. There’s no fuel charge when you come back, however much of the lake you cover.

What should we bring?

A cooler with food, drinks, and plenty of water; sunscreen and hats; towels and swimsuits; and shoes that can get wet. For Jocassee, pay your Devils Fork parking and admission online before you go.

How do we reserve?

By phone. Call (864) 508-2410 to check dates, choose your lake, and set a meeting time at the launch.

What happens if the weather turns?

We watch the forecast and are happy to talk it through with you before your trip. If a thunderstorm cuts your day short, give us a call and we’ll work something out for another day, depending on how much of your day you got.
