About

About Palmetto Pirates Boat Rental

We’re a small, local boat rental business in the Upstate, and we rent tritoons on the two lakes we know best: Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee.

The tritoon pulling up to a floating dock with a yellow boarding rail.

The name is a bit of fun. The business is simple: a clean, comfortable boat, a fair price, and a one-time charge for your day.

The price

That price is one number. You pay once, fuel is included, there’s no deposit needed, and no fuel bill at the dock. We’d rather you spend the day on the lake than doing math about it.

The phone call

Everything is arranged by phone, so you’ll talk to someone who knows both lakes, the launches, and what the weather tends to do.

Clear, shallow water over a rocky Lake Keowee shoreline.

Lake Keowee is our easygoing lake, with open water and swimming coves that suit families.

Lake Jocassee from above, green water between forested ridges.

Lake Jocassee is the more dramatic lake with deep and clear water situated between the mountains, with waterfalls you reach by boat.

We’re happy to help you pick so you can have the best day on the water.
